Post Fired for being obsessed with boss!

I was romantically obsessed with a former boss. I hacked into his computer because I wanted to find out everything about him. It didn't hurt that his password was his only child's name - this made it uber easy to hack. I was BUSTED and fired because you can set it up on Outlook to send a 'Read Receipt' when an e-mail is read. I was reading thru his e-mail and one of the e-mails generated a Read Receipt to someone. That person must have asked him why he was in the office at 2am, and they launched an investigation. My access card showed I was the only one in the building at that time so I was FIRED!!

Default The Stalker complains why?

Let me get this straight. YOU hacked a workplace computer; your bosses computer in particular, and have the nerve to complain about being fired? Your lucky you weren't prosecuted. Why the hell can't women try the direct approach nowadays? Next time just tell your boss your crazy for him and don't DO something that's crazy.

Default Hmmm

I'm actually shocked you'd post this on here. Not only was that STUPID, it was illegal. You're lucky all he did was fire you.

Stalking is just plain creepy. I can't believe you would tell anyone about it, it sounds really embarrassing.

How does being a chick make it any better? This is just sick and twisted, and whoever it is needs professional help.

I only pray that no guy would ever date you. You sound like a psycho.

Speaking for myself, I have never fallen in love with a boss and never will.

Stalking is illegal in several states. You should have been arrested for this. Do you know how many people are murdered by stalkers? Do you know someone I care deeply about was murdered by a stalker?

You should seriously seek professional help before you commit a worse act than reading someone else's emails.

Ok my question is, "Are you still stalking this guy?"
If you go to those great lengths to stalk someone, do you give up that easy?

Stories like this are scary. If you like someone tell them. You are really lucky not to be arrested. I know people who have lost everything due to impulses like that!

Seems like this firing was completely acceptable. A court order to keep you away would probably be in order as well.

There was a guy that worked for the company I worked for about 15 years ago that was dating one of the women that worked for me. He seemed to be a pretty nice guy. He was smart and seemed like he was overall a nice guy. The woman he was dating told me what a great guy he was and how much fun they had together.

Then one morning he didn't show up for work. Around mid-morning the police show up and ask to speak to the woman. As it turns out, the guy was MARRIED, and had just killed his wife (attempting to make it look like a break in, but unsuccessfully). NOBODY at the company had any idea that he was married, even the HR records showed him as being single.

That just goes to show, you do not REALLY know the people you work with. It's very easy to show one face of yourself to your co-workers and keep your private life secret. Until you've met a person's friends and family that REALLY know them, they are really a stranger.
