Post Employers seem to like me..but.I am still not getting the JOB

Hey guys..

I have been looking for Job now since the past 2 months.Looking at the current JOB scenario, I am pretty lucky to get interview calls already. In fact I have already been to few interviews..(about 7 interviews). Unfortunately I am loosing out on getting the job for various reasons..which certainly don't make sense..
1. Recent 2 interviews I lost out because I was over qualified for the JOB..
2. Another interview was brilliant interview, I felt there were 99.9 % chances of me being hired.., In fact the interviewer told me 2 times- once during the interview and once before leaving as to how impressed he was with my answers and he thinks he is very positive..This was with NHS..I lost this JOB reason given to me as I DO NOT have NHS experience..errrgghhhhh.
3. Another one- got a rejection yesterday telling me he was really impressed the way I presented myself and answered but it was a difficult decision he had to make with myself and another candidate. And he selected the other candidate....
4. My very first interview I know I messed up- since it was my interview I gave after almost 6 yrs..so that was my fault..

But what about the rest...I am getting frustrated..now..If the EMPLOYERS give me genuine reasons then I can improve myself but if they are not honest..How the hell am I going to know why they don't like me....

Someone Please help.

Smile I was in the same boat

I was in the same position you were in. I would have the first interview and second interviews and then I would make it as a last candidate and the employer always chose someone else.. It always made me upset!

I decided to do some research and I found out about this book called: The Superstar Interview Guide.

It really helped me about how I communicated during the entire interview process..

After reading the book, I got my job offer.. I was so happy!

If you are interested I got it at InstantJobInterviewTools.com.

Good Luck!

Yes I agree with Amy Hardy it's really frustrating not to get the job after series of interviews. I just got hired 3 months ago after 2 years of applying. I just tried to keep it cool and read interview tips on the internet. I even bought a book called The Unspoken Rules of Getting Hired which I found on the site www.Interviewmastermind.com. Check out the site. I believe it would do you a lot of good.
