Hi,
Today seems to be my day for posts entirely based on curiosity...
Which benefits are important to you as an employee?
Vacation & sick leave (my personal favorite :D )
401K
Stock Options
Medical/Dental
All kidding aside, vacation is my personal favorite because I rarely use my medical/dental. The 401k is second because it puts money away that I would otherwise spend

I say vacation is on the top of the list. But when I get older I would say medical/dental will be on the top.

I've found stock options/espp to be the best of all benefits so far. I was able to take a year off to travel because of them. :D
The next best benefit to me is a flexible work schedule.

My dog and I think that the best benefit is a dog-friendly workplace.

These answers would have been completely different 15-20 years ago, but now that I actively have to color my hair to cover the amount of gray in it, here goes.........
1. Medical/dental (ortho!)
2. On site childcare or healthy reimbusements for same.
3. Flex time
4. Work-from-home option
5. Stock options and 401K
6. Vacation

Analytical again here. I like to make sure that the health benefits offered are really a benefit. Without children, often times I am held to the same standard as if I did have children as far as what would be taken out of paycheck. There are two major insurance companies that serve 75% of the workplaces in this area. And in the last 2 jobs I had, both had served us within 4 yrs. Same as internet, there is only one phone company for 50 miles in all directions. If I want different local internet, I have to move 50 miles:)
Can anyone tell I want to move finally to the big city.
