Hi All,
I just wanted to share some books with you that I read recently. The books, at least broadly speaking, can be applied to the work & business world in some ways.
Blink by Malcolm Gladwell - an interesting book that can potentially be tied to decision making and/or marketing.
Everything Bad Is Good For You by Steven Johnson - an interesting book on how popular culture could possibly be making us smarter (because today's popular culture is more connected & complex than it is given credit for)
The Wisdom of Crowds - James Surowiecki - an interesting book that shows a lot of studies to demonstrate that a group of people will almost always beat the results of the smartest person(s). It is interesting from a business perspective because we often put a lot of faith in the wisdom of a select few. The book touches on a fair number of topics relative to group behavior & wisdom
